Property Description

Heritage House — material as architecture.

Set against the edge of the Namib, this project draws its strength from restraint. Material selection was led by context — onyx, linen, and timber — each chosen for its ability to respond to light and climate. Surfaces were kept quiet, allowing shadow and texture to define the space throughout the day.

Rather than impose, the design absorbs its environment.

What emerges is a space that feels both anchored and expansive — shaped as much by absence as by form.
